CBD oil comes with a slew of health benefits.

We are living in an interesting world. On one hand, every day there are amazing new advancements in medical technology. On the other, some of those advancements are technically illegal in some parts of the country.

30 states across the US have legalized the sale of cannabis, so its only a matter of time before everyone else follows suit.

You have have heard all kinds of things about CBD oil, and the different health aspects, but until it becomes totally legal I don’t know that we will have a full and complete picture of its potential uses.

Thus far, the evidence that the CBD oil found in hemp has health benefits is compelling, so here are a few health benefits of CBD oil:

Epilepsy– Studies around using CBD oil to treat epilepsy have shown a decrease in seizure activity, with up to 52 percent of patients exhibiting a 50 percent reduction in seizures.

Cancer- The anti-inflammatory and anti-anxiety properties of CBD oil make it a reliable treatment for cancer, in some patients. It also helps treat nausea and vomiting, which can be caused by chemotherapy. There are promising studies around the use of CBD oil to treat tumors, but we really do need more studies and more information to make a truly accurate case for hemp.

Immune System- CBD oil is an antioxidant, which protects your body from the damage of free radicals, protects your gut, and can balance your immune system, which affects your overall health.

As cannabis becomes legal across all fifty states, there is bound to be a lot more research done on potential health benefits of hemp, CBD, and THC. If you are interested in using it to support your health, keep your eyes and ears open for more information. Just keep in mind that there are still strict regulations around athletes using any kind of cannabis, so if you are competing, I would steer clear for now!
